For the 2nd year Reed Nissan partnered with The Windermere Country Club Foundation for the 3rd annual charity golf event, A HOME FOR A HERO, at Windermere Country Club on February 23, 2010. The event was designed to help build a mortgage-free home for Army Sergeant Joel Tavera, who was critically wounded in Iraq in March 2008.
 
Reed Nissan donated a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 S with Premium Package, and the lucky raffle winner was from New York! Only 250 tickets were available for purchase. All raffle proceeds go directly toward the Tavera's home construction.

Over 150 golfers were in attendance for the event and Windermere Country Club Foundation raised OVER $60,000 for the Tavera family. Mr. Tavera was also in attendance and shared his gratitude for everyone's kindness.
